Singapore · priya.raghunathan@example.com · +65 8100 5521

Summary

Digital marketing manager with 7 years running acquisition across APAC. Owns SEO, paid search and lifecycle email for a regional e-commerce business, reports on pipeline rather than impressions, and has taken organic from a rounding error to the largest non-brand channel.

Experience

Digital Marketing Manager, APAC, Lumen Commerce Asia

05.2022 – Present

  • Own digital acquisition across six APAC markets with a S$2.4M annual budget: SEO, paid search, paid social and lifecycle email.
  • Grew non-brand organic sessions 168% in 18 months through a technical fix programme and a 90-article content plan mapped to search intent.
  • Cut blended cost per acquisition 31% by restructuring Google Ads around intent tiers and killing three campaigns that looked fine on clicks and converted nothing.
  • Built the channel dashboard in Looker Studio that the leadership team now uses, replacing a monthly slide pack assembled by hand.
  • Led a HubSpot lifecycle rebuild: 14 automated journeys, lifting email-attributed revenue from 6% to 15% of the total.
  • Manage two specialists and an SEO agency, and run the monthly performance review with country managers.

Digital Marketing Executive, Meridian Travel Group

03.2019 – 04.2022

  • Ran paid search and paid social for Singapore and Malaysia, scaling spend from S$40K to S$310K a year while holding ROAS above 4.
  • Owned the content calendar and social channels, growing engaged followers from 12K to 58K.
  • Implemented GA4 and conversion tracking across two sites after the Universal Analytics sunset.

Why this example works

SEO leads because it dominated the postings

SEO appeared 21 times in our sample, more than twice anything else. The second bullet is an SEO result with a number and the method behind it, not a claim of "SEO expertise".

Budget ownership is stated in currency

S$2.4M tells a hiring manager the scale you operate at. "Managed marketing budgets" could mean a tenth of that or ten times.

One bullet admits killing something

Three campaigns that looked fine on clicks and converted nothing. Marketers who cut their own work are rarer, and more credible, than marketers who only launch.

Revenue, not impressions

Email-attributed revenue from 6% to 15%; CPA down 31%. Postings ask for lead generation and measurement — this speaks that language rather than the vanity one.

Team and agency management are visible

Two specialists and an agency. At manager level the question is whether you can direct other people's work, so it needs saying explicitly.

What digital marketing manager postings actually ask for

We pulled 10 live postings (digital marketing manager, Singapore) on 24 September 2026 and counted what they mention — counted across all 10 descriptions, so a posting that repeats a term counts each time. The example above uses these terms where they are genuinely true of the person, which is the only way to use them.

TermMentions across those postings

Automation8
CRM6
Stakeholder management5

Dashboards4
Salesforce3
Google Analytics2
HubSpot2
Cross-functional work2
Project management2

How those postings describe the work, in their own words:

  • develop and drive audience targeting, lead generation, measurement, and campaign optimization
  • drive and monitor regional social media strategy, governance, and performance
  • manage the day-to-day activities for social media channels
  • manage active and engaged communities by monitoring online conversations
  • develop best practices and guidance for responsible AI use in marketing

Mistakes to avoid on a digital marketing manager resume

Reporting reach and impressions

They're inputs, not outcomes. Convert to sessions, leads, pipeline, revenue or cost per acquisition wherever you can.

Listing every tool you've logged into

Mailchimp, HubSpot, Marketo, Klaviyo, Braze on one line reads as trials. Name the ones you've run a real programme in.

No budget figure anywhere

Spend level is how marketing hiring managers place you. Leaving it out invites the lower assumption.

Strategy with no execution

"Developed digital strategy" needs a campaign, a channel and a result underneath it, or it reads as a slide nobody actioned.

Frequently asked questions

Should a marketing resume include campaign metrics?

Yes, and prefer the ones tied to money: CPA, ROAS, revenue share, pipeline. Keep confidential absolute figures out by using percentages where needed.

Do I need a portfolio link?

For content and brand roles it helps. For performance marketing, the numbers in your bullets do more work than a portfolio site.

How do I show SEO results without sounding vague?

State the baseline, the change, the period and the method. "Non-brand organic sessions up 168% in 18 months via technical fixes and 90 intent-mapped articles" survives scrutiny.

Are certifications like Google Ads worth listing?

They're cheap signals — useful early in a career, largely ignored once you have spend and results behind you. Keep them to one line.

Should I mention AI tools in marketing?

Only where you genuinely changed a workflow with them. One of the postings we sampled asked for guidance on responsible AI use, so it's becoming a real requirement rather than a buzzword.
